Well, seriously, sometimes...you are the ideal candidate to teach the class a thing or two.

Terrible fact that teachers can't avoid:  Peers listen to each other more than any other group combined...including teachers.  You are the perfect people to make sure that you are all covering 7-8 stories in a single week.

And, you will be tired.  :-)  That's okay.  You need to feel what it's like to be me for a minute.

Just a couple of last minute reminders:  If you did not email me your presentation, please email it to [email protected].  If you do this ahead of time, I can make sure it works and that it's downloaded properly.  Taking time to do this takes time from your presentation...you don't need that kind of pressure!

Several teachers have asked to come visit you guys next week because...frankly...they can't believe that a group of freshmen are giving these kinds of presentations.  To all the naysayers...I say that nobody has seen a group like you guys yet!  This is a group of freshmen for the books!

The blog entry below is where you can find the links to the short stories, so you can read them this weekend.  Don't forget!!

Happy Homecoming to all of you!  Have fun and be safe!

...And, never forget...a small baby is never a cute accessory for the growing teenage girl or boy.  :-X

Just click on your story, and you will be taken to the link.  If for any reason your link does not work, reply with a blog comment so I can fix it.  The good news is that this link is probably not the only way to find this story.

                                                                                          "Desiree's Baby" - Kate Chopin

"The Black Cat" - Edgar Allan Poe

Remember to download and annotate your stories, if you haven't done so yet! Also, remember the assignment you have been given by your team
